James is 2!

Easter!

Its been quite some time since our last post - but here we are! James is doing great and we're having a wonderful spring. We have a great Easter in Baltimore and James and I enjoyed the White House Egg Roll too!

Boxes!

This Christmas, James's love of boxes continued to grow!

Happy New Year!

Happy new year! We had a great day, walking in the park with James and Pierre, and visiting Brookside Gardens at night. James loved the lights! He pointed at everything!

Aquarium

While we were in Atlanta we visited the aquarium, which was amazing. James loved the lights, and the piranhas (huh?). Some things couldn't compete with his Cheerios though. Like the huge grouper.

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas in Atlanta with uncles Scott, Mark and Andrew and Yaya and GG. James opened presents, touched everything and took the dogs to the park - all before noon. It was a wonderful trip!

Pillows

We're not really sure why, but James is really into pillows lately. Cuddling with them and kissing them are highlights.

Snow

Last weekend we had nearly two feet of snow. We were so excited to have James out in it. But he wasn't. He pretty much hated everything about it. But we still had fun.

Thanksgiving

So I am a bit behind, but we've had a wonderful series of holidays with both families. James is loving walking and talking - he's adorable and we're having so much fun.

Long time, no blog. We were out of commission for a few weeks while James combated a cold, an ear infection and hand, foot and mouth. We're back though and enjoying our time together. James tried out his new boots and snowsuit a few weekends ago. Kept him warm, but made it hard to walk. Don't worry, he bounced right back up...off camera.

Yaya and GG Come to Town!

Last weekend James was lucky enough to have his Yaya and GG visit from Atlanta. He had a fantastic time showing off his two new skills, walking and kicking! It was a great visit and we can't wait for more Gentles family time in December.

Walking, an Evolution

We've been "practicing" walking with James for what seems like months now and then wow one day it happened! I think he was more surprised than we were. And after two days of walking he's getting pretty good!

Halloween

First - wow - what a difference a year makes!

We had a great Halloween this year. First, we celebrated on Thursday with the Edelman trick or treat with all our little friends from work. Then on Friday, we celebrated with Braden and Mac and then we celebrated in our neighborhood. Great weekend.
